I am a native  of Colombia, South America where I was inspired to create a style of the indigenous culture. I use specific techniques to make my work appear primitive and rustic. My artwork also incorporates small rocks, bits of wood, seeds, and leaves to make the textures that are predominate in every piece I create. Using earthy colors and textures, with attention to detail, I mold nature in a unique way. My work is molded without the use of a potter's wheel. My academic art education was at the Institute of Visual Arts in Cali, Colombia and, the Institute of Fine Arts in Bogota, Colombia. I have enriched my artistic knowledge while living in Italy, Spain, and the United States.
